Durability

Running home last night these words hit my ears and something clicked.

It's not how hard you can go for five minutes, it's how hard you can go for five minutes after four hours.

It was the latest episode from the FastTalk Labs podcast and focused on the latest buzz word in endurance sports; Durability.

The irony was that by the time I had finished the episode I noticed my pace was down and the heart rate higher, clear signs of a lack in durability.
